BBC Children in Need Grenfell Tower Fund
20th June 2017
We are deeply saddened by the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower.
BBC Children in Need have initially allocated grant funds to provide immediate support to families affected through the Emergency Essentials programme, which Buttle UK is administering.
A number of local projects working with disadvantaged children and young people in the area have already been contacted directly to ensure that we can get funds to those that need them as quickly as we can.
However, if you are a support worker looking for help for families affected by the fire you can apply for help through our online application process. Funding is available for items that the affected children immediately need, such as clothing (including school uniforms), and beds and bedding. Families that have been rehoused can also apply to us for white goods such as cookers, fridges and washing machines, which we will supply directly through our commercial partners. Please read the attached notes before you apply. The online application form can be accessed here.
If you would like to talk to one of our case-workers, please call Hazel Sewell on 0207 798 6234.
