Help with a grant you have received

My client’s been awarded a grant, what next?

Cheques

Cheques will be sent from our head office within the next 10 days (usually less). We expect your agency to process the cheque and that you will arrange for the purchase of the items required or assist your client to do so. Please remember that it is a requirement of the grant that you retain receipts for grants under £300 and send us copies if the grant was for over this amount.

An item being delivered by Co-op

Co-op aim to deliver within two weeks. Please let us know if the address on the award letter is wrong, the client no longer needs the item or there will be another problem with the delivery.

Within 6 working days of the order being placed, Co-op will contact your client directly by telephone (or by postcard if they are unable to contact them by telephone), to arrange a suitable date and time for delivery.  They also have your contact details, in case they cannot get in touch with your client.  Co-op will install the item as required and remove the old item if you requested this in your application.  Please note that local Co-op stores do not hold any information about this order.  If you have any questions about the item or need to arrange a change of delivery date, contact  the dedicated contact team at the Co-op Sales Offices on 0845 250 4311 option 1, or email them at commercialqueries@coop.co.uk.  Tell them that your client is a beneficiary of a charitable grant arranged through Buttle UK.

CO-OP GUARANTEE - This item comes with a 12-month guarantee. A separate letter will be sent by post to your client informing them of this award, the guarantee and the telephone number for the Co-op After Sales Team, should they need to report a fault.  Co-op will not be  providing your client with a separate guarantee, so it is important that they keep the letter safe.

If you have any other questions please get in touch with me as soon as possible. Please keep this letter on your client’s file for future reference.

An item being delivered by Dreams

Dreams aim to deliver within two weeks. Please let us know if the address on the award letter is wrong, the client no longer needs the item or there will be another problem with the delivery.

Within 6 working days of the order being placed, Dreams will contact your client directly by telephone (or by postcard if they are unable to contact them by telephone), to arrange a suitable date and time for delivery.  They also have your contact details, in case they cannot get in touch with your client.  Dreams will deliver the bed to the appropriate room but are unable to assemble it. Please note that local Dream stores do not hold any information about this order. If you have any questions about the item or need to arrange a change of delivery date, contact Peter Lally at Dreams on 01628 535353 ext 1630 peterlally@dreams.co.uk. Tell him your client is a beneficiary of a charitable grant arranged through Buttle UK. Please contact me about any changes to the item ordered or the client’s delivery address.
