BBC Children In Need
Emergency Essentials Programme
“Our vision is a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realise their potential.” BBC Children In Need
Buttle UK runs the BBC Children In Need’s Emergency Essentials Programme, which works seamlessly with our own Small Grants Programme. The needs of the individual child are paramount to both programmes and reflected in our united mission to make a positive change to the lives of children and young people in need throughout the UK.
Through Buttle UK's extensive network of frontline partner agencies, and the investment we have made the efficiency of our application process, we are able to target BBC Children In Need funds to reach some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the country. Those who may have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; those who are living in poverty; or those who are suffering through distress, abuse or neglect. In providing a bed, or a cooker, or baby equipment we are able to make a real difference to the lives of these vulnerable children and young people living without the basics that we all take for granted.
Buttle UK is proud to work in partnership with BBC Children In Need. We are grateful for their ongoing support, and would like to thank all of you who raise money for them for your help, your energy and your dedication to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
